By using the app, you agree to follow these rules in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We take community standards seriously. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.

1. Be Respectful

Treat others with kindness and respect. We welcome honest opinions and reviews, but personal attacks, harassment, or bullying are never acceptable. Do not engage in hate speech, threats, discrimination, or any behavior intended to intimidate or harm another person or group.

2. Share Real, Relevant Content

CookIn is about genuine food experiences and restaurant discovery. Please share content that’s honest, original, and relevant to dining or local food culture. Do not post spam, repetitive promotions, misleading information, or unrelated material. Business users must only post accurate deals, promotions, and information about their restaurants.

3. Keep It Safe for Everyone

We do not allow violence, hate speech, or extremist content; pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult material; depictions of self-harm or illegal activity; or content that promotes drugs or unsafe consumption. Content that violates these rules will be removed and may result in account termination.

4. Respect Privacy and Intellectual Property

Only share photos, videos, and reviews that you have the right to post. Do not upload content that infringes on another person’s copyright, trademark, or privacy. Never share someone’s personal information without their consent.

5. No Spam, Fraud, or Unauthorized Promotions

Do not use CookIn to post spam, scams, or fake promotions. Misleading offers, fraudulent listings, and deceptive content are strictly prohibited. Business accounts must ensure all deals and promotions are truthful and redeemable as described. You may not use CookIn to advertise products, services, or promotions unrelated to food or dining without CookIn’s written consent.

6. Messaging and Interactions

Our in-app messaging feature is designed for friendly and constructive communication. Do not send unwanted messages, harassment, or solicitations. You may block or report other users if you encounter inappropriate behavior. CookIn may review reported messages to protect user safety and enforce these guidelines.

7. Reporting Content or Users

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it using the in-app reporting tools or by emailing info@cookin.app. Our moderation team reviews reports promptly and takes appropriate action, which may include removing content, suspending accounts, or notifying authorities if necessary. While we review all reports as promptly as possible, we do not guarantee that every piece of content or account will be reviewed or that any specific action will be taken.

8. Enforcement and Consequences

CookIn reserves the right to remove content that violates these guidelines or our Terms of Service; suspend or terminate accounts involved in repeat or serious violations; or restrict app features for users under investigation or warning. We aim to educate before we penalize, but serious or repeated offenses may lead to permanent suspension without prior notice. If you believe your content was removed or your account suspended in error, you may contact info@cookin.app to request a review.

9. Age and Safety

CookIn is intended for users 13 years and older. If you are under 13, you may not create an account or use the app. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used CookIn without permission, please contact us immediately at info@cookin.app.

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our platform or applicable laws. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates the latest version. Continued use of CookIn after an update means you agree to follow the revised rules.
